comparing deportation to slavery is insane. that’s like saying dresses and oranges are the same thing. two things that have absolutely no touching points. slavery was a horrible awful thing that occurred (and it never should have). deportation is a consequence of moving countries in the wrong way without following the proper steps. no one’s saying they can’t live in america. just that you have to do it the right kind of way. that’s hardly comparable to the disgusting institution of slavery?

at this point if you really believe what is happening is just “deportation” and not worse, you need to either get different news sources or sit and reexamine yourself and your values a regime only aimed at “illegal” immigration would not make denaturalization a priority of their enforcement.
