Do you have to go through Qatar? Wouldn’t flying over the Pacific be shorter?

There’s options thru Tokyo and Seoul and Taipei rn but they’re expensive af and the stopovers are forever. One of them woulda had me in Taipei for 21 hours coming back

Yeah, that’s tough. Guess it’s a bit too long for the plane to fly without fuel if it just went straight.
