Requiring unfettered loyalty to the head of state is authoritarian. If republicans want to stop being called that then they need to stop supporting it

I don’t condone what he said at all, but the military is kind of supposed to have almost unfettered loyalty to the president

Yeah, I’m not believing a headline from a random news source. I’m gonna need a clip of him actually saying it.

Lmao. You post one tweet where you don’t even see what he said it about. I’m not gonna say the guy is perfect, cause he isn’t, but you’re talking like democrats haven’t said questionable shit

Potential ones, like performing law enforcement activities (illegal if they’re under the command of the President)

So dems are telling the U.S. military to not follow any potential unlawful orders given to them by the president.

I might be thinking of a different thread. It’s about the same issue. The point still stands though. I think it’s rich how dems can say don’t follow unlawful orders, but they make unlawful orders by stopping federal agents from doing their jobs.

2 things: 1) democrats aren’t really making unlawful orders 2) this is a discussion about saying people who disobey them should be killed. Democrats have never said that.

Stopping federal agents from BREAKING THE LAW is not unlawful it’s mandatory
