It’s not corruption, the Supreme Court ruled that money is freedom of speech, rightfully so.

Some business owners are better than others. Sorry but if your business makes no revenue and you own zero capital, your opinion simply doesn’t matter as much as Elon’s

Oh so then you didn’t say what you meant. What you meant was that anyone with the most money should control the government. Meaning about 10 ppl would control the government

So you basically want to take away your own voting power and give it to other people

I mean… yes. If you manage to accumulate that much value, clearly you are doing something in high demand and moving large portions of the economy. It only makes sense that you have the greatest say in governance. Think of capital as basically people, except people that you own and they vote the way you vote and have your opinions. It’s like Bezos and Musk have an army of voters

Yes the communist pigs overthrew their capitalist system in pursuit of equality that simply resulted in the pigs who led the revolution to “hog” (no pun intended) the resources

So you want your own say in govt to be about 0.000000001% that of Elon Musk’s, cool I’m all for that actually.

He already controls so much capital, I’m sure that he will pursue what will be best in terms of his allocating resources at the state level. Clearly I’m not worthy of doing that and that’s okay

He doesn’t have to care about anybody, the point of the state is to manage economics, the point of economics is to allocate resources with alternative uses efficiently, in being selfish companies create value by finding the most resources efficient means to create a superior product. People who have mastered this and control great capital ought to have a greater say in the state

In my opinion if he’s smart, he should mostly let the economy run itself. As a capitalist he should understand that this is ultimately the best option. I can understand if he’d incentivize some things depending on need

Create the most value for who? The 1% of people who reap the profit from the rest of the 99 who does all the work? I mean surely you understand that the needs of a state are very different from the needs of a corporation. And the existence of the cyber truck (the only Tesla Elon had a hand in designing) should help dispel the myth of capitalism creating superior products. Same thing with our healthcare system or educational systems, superior products are never the primary result
