the reverse of the curb-cut theory is that restricting access for certain marginalized demographics actually makes shit worse for all of us, even the most able-bodied christian cishet anglos

i injured my knee recently but because of all of the anti-homeless bars and separators on benches, when i need to sit i can’t set my leg on the bench comfortably (and stretching it out in front of me is barely better than bending it)
