Unfortunately that’s not how brainwashing works. MAGA really does function like a cult and my parents are more afraid of being ousted by their friends and community than they are of losing a child. My mom didn’t speak to me or my brother for months when Charlie Kirk died because both of us posted about how much of a piece of shit he was and people messaged her about it. Mind you, my mom never even watched or engaged with any of his content.
