unfortunately you’re right. i’m sure you saw that a trump endorsed house candidate named amir hassan lost in michigan to a guy who dropped out a month ago. republicans are racist and islamophobic and that genuinely is a problem for AES needs to overcome. i also believe the amount of people who go “muslim = scary” are low and since AES has actual policies as opposed to “im not as bad as the other guy” he’ll do a lot better than people think
