This happened in the US. Other countries are irrelevant. In fact, US law actually covers that by making it illegal to travel in or out of the US with the intent to engage in sex with someone under 18 (18 U.S. Code § 2423)

Regardless of the AoC, the definitions of hebephilia and ephebophilia still stand. And outside the psychiatric world, those chronophilias are colloquially called pedophilia

I'm not talking about legally. It's relevant to context. Pedophilia means an attraction to young children before puberty. No one involved fits that definition. In the u.s. the age of consent is 18 which is relatively high. Teens are very often sexually active. I'm saying many countries recognize this gray area and set the bar several years lower.

“Teens are very often sexually active” we’re not talking about any sort of situation that would fall under Romeo and Juliet laws anyway. This is a powerful older man using girls under the age of 18, even under 14, many of which would not consent (if they even had the capacity to do so)
