There’s a lot of debate on that and it depends on what kind of Judaism you follow. I’m Reform, so we’re a lot more lenient on these matters. An Orthodox Jew will probably disagree with me and choose not to use electricity on Shabbat (Sundown on Friday - Nightfall on Saturday)

Isn’t there a network or meeting you go to to discuss these things? My Jewish friend from highschool’s dad is the CEO of the Jewish federation of my state and his mom is on the board. And he wasn’t supposed to tell me but he did and said that you guys have these crazy secret meetings and be plotting. My question is what goes on in them?

I certainly haven’t been invited, but we definitely have a network. Supporting our community is definitely something we do. We have very strong networking skills and that’s one of the reasons why we’re so successful.

Yes. I’m not gonna that’s one thing yall do right. I don’t think I’ve seen any other group or demographic support thier people like that. If I remember correctly his family gets money from Germany because the grandmother was in the Holocaust. And then another Jewish organization sends them money because they’re Jewish. And yall have all these crazy non for profits that print money and give Jewish people free healthcare, food, clothes, and trips to Israel. I don’t think I’ve ever met a poor Jewis

Being Reform I’d say my identity and sense of community has had a larger impact on me throughout my life. I do believe in God.
