If I form a political party called ‘National Capitalists’ and then implement single payer healthcare, restructure the welfare state, and collectivize industry, am I still a capitalist? They literally abolished trade unions, privatized rail, had most of the left parties in the country executed or otherwise purged, permitted and encouraged the formation of cartels.
