France ranks first for social welfare spending in the entire world. On top of this their border policy became extremely open which allowed way too many people to collect this social welfare while being net negative tax payers. This has stagnated their economy, which means things get worse for everyone.

ooookay.. I’ve not heard the american left talking about any of this. they want it to be easier for people to who need to move here for whatever reason and not have to wait years for results because they’re in a bad situation, not so much open borders
