i’m personally of the belief that most of our rights have been under increasing restriction since the turn of the last century. but if we are all gonna play the game then we all need to acknowledge the same rules. and acting like unlawful assembly doesn’t exist is ignoring the rather plainly obvious rules

I agree that our rights have been under increasing restriction since the turn of the century, that much has been obvious. However, when the rules of a city, state, or federal government contradict the supposedly “highest law in the land” then you might as well live in a land with no law. Just because the rules are obvious does not mean they are moral nor right.

If you take the parts I highlighted and put them in one sentence you’ll see why that isn’t a valid argument

But it is, as there are laws. You just dont have a grasp of law that’s the only conclusion here

Since I have to spell it out: the 1st amendment says congress will not make a law that abridges the right of the people to peaceably assemble. If you are peaceably assembled then there is no such thing as an unlawful assembly, as guaranteed by the Constitution. In my opinion, it’s unconstitutional for a state to say “we can arbitrarily decide when your protest is over”
