I mean kinda. You don’t spend 20 years fighting in the sand to not finish the job. The three major destabilizing state actors in MENA in 2001 were Iraq, Libya, and Iran. Saddam and Gaddafi are no longer promoting destabilization of the region. Two down.

oh no gang are you stupid :( you do know the administration has zero idea what they’re doing, right? that there’s no clear objective and no legitimacy given trump ordered the strikes without congressional approval? that the bush wars were (1) started on the premise that iraq had WMDs except, spoiler, they didn’t and (2) did nothing except kill american and iraqi citizens alike while wasting hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars?

Yeah no doubt the administration is the least competent group of people who could have ever done this and are going about it in the stupidest way I could imagine them doing it, but they already rented the hotel room and put the condom on so might as well just fuck the fat girl at this point. If we bumble into a regime change war and Hegseth just stays drunk and targets whatever the IDF tells him to, idk, probably best outcome from this moment given where we are.

Lmao Gaddafi, who was trying to unify the entire region was promoting destabilization? Ever since we killed him Libya has been a playground for terrorists. Same with Iraq, the puppet government there is extremely dysfunctional and regularly slaughters protestors (just like Iran).
