Yeah because the things we disagree on constitute moral failure… Republicans are pro rape, pro pedophilia, pro Genocide and so on. So yes, if someone disagrees with me that those are bad, then I would consider them morally reprehensible and likely hell bound.

Except it’s more than that. We’re not talking about a simple “Regan sucked. He was a piece of shit because he did A, B, and C.” type of comment. I’m talking about obsessive moral absolutism that offers zero substance outside of political theater. It’s moral signaling to your in-group, not anything substantive. Again…Regan is dead…so I don’t really see the point of wasting time on some dead asshole if it’s anything other than historical analysis.
