Every fetus aborted is a life of suffering it won’t have to endure 🫡

let’s just kill everyone right now then to prevent future suffering

Anonymous#117h
Ok yeah bet. (No but in all seriousness a fetus isn’t a human being)
4
AnonymousOP17h
when does it become a human
-2
Anonymous#117h
Gray area, no set scientific consensus (certainly not without a brain). Abortions should be legal up until the point when a C-section can result in a surviving premature baby. Either way the woman gets to decide what happens to her body and whether the fetus stays.

shouldn’t there be a consensus for something like this? seems weird to arbitrarily assign human status to something
-2
Anonymous#117h
There doesn’t need to be, I can just say sure it’s human, but I would still prioritize the bodily autonomy of the actually conscious mother capable of suffering

AnonymousOP17h
so why can’t you just abort a baby the week before it’s due
-1
Anonymous#117h
Cause at that point you could just do an early c section?
5
AnonymousOP17h
dawg i’m sorry your mindset is just so sad
-1
Anonymous#117h
“My mindset is so sad” and it’s that people should have the right to make private decisions about their bodily autonomy and health with their doctors and not have the government dictate what they should do
5
AnonymousOP17h
yeah i agree with you to have bodily autonomy. but abortion is violating the autonomy of another human
-1
Anonymous#117h
Even if we think it’s human, its existence relies on violating the autonomy of the mother, and hers takes precedence as a conscious being capable of suffering.

AnonymousOP17h
a fetus isn’t a parasite bro
-1
Anonymous#117h
When did I use that word? Please point out exactly where you think I said that?
3
AnonymousOP17h
it’s kind of implied when you say it’s existence is dependent of violating another’s autonomy. it’s simply not true
-1
Anonymous#117h
It actually IS true, its continued existence requires the state to limit the mother’s autonomy. She should be allowed to decide whether or not it continues to use her womb and nutrients.
2
AnonymousOP16h
i don’t think you’re saying what you mean to say.
it’s existence continues without intervention.
i’m just making the point that it’s morally wrong to kill children
-1
Anonymous#116h
And I’m saying it’s not a child, it’s fetus, and the mother’s autonomy takes precedence given that she is an actually conscious being capable of suffering, and the fetus objectively isn’t.
