It’s a mix of both. We have to cut back on a lot of stuff, vehicles, meat, DoorDash. But cars are overpriced via a monopoly. As are concerts. It’s not wrong for people to go to fucking concerts lmao and there’s no reason a ticket should cost hundreds.

Yes, ofc people should have fun, but I stand by my statement Americans (left and right) have a lifestyle issue. The Left especially likes to compare us to Europe. Well, gas prices are 2x in Europe, and they drive small cars. A Nissan Versa Manual costs $18,000. A Toyota Corolla isn’t much more, but instead Americans voluntarily go into debt buying these huge SUVs

Do we have lifestyle issues or are we getting gouged every step of the way? For decades we could afford suvs, trucks etc on a single income, but all of the sudden they’re lifestyles issues?
