This mf said a Republican governor gerrymandered Maryland in favor of democrats 🤣
Throughout this whole restricting war, the funniest part has been watching liberals realize that it’s impossible to gerrymander most democratic states more than they already are

Oh my god šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø That’s not even close to what I said. Jesus Christ I can’t believe you fucking people can vote. No wonder so many stupid ass ballot measures get passed. You can’t even read a Yak

Yes or no, did he agree with the map you claimed is gerrymandered?

He agreed to one map because there was literally no time left to get one signed. After vetoing another map (veto was overruled) and calling a ruling keeping a gerrymandered map in place ā€œdisappointingā€

You’re acting like Maryland is a fair map that was enthusiastically signed and agreed to by a Republican governor who gave a big smile and thumbs up while he did. Just admit that the state has a gerrymandered map. Why is this so hard for you?

All I’m asking you to do is admit that many blue states are also gerrymandered. I really don’t think that’s too much to ask

I dispute the ā€œmanyā€. Some, like Oregon, suck. But I disagree with ā€œmanyā€. And my point was about Maryland specifically. ā€œMy post so I control the narrativeā€ or whatever lmao

California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon. Those states alone make up most blue states

Prove that their current congressional maps are gerrymandered in a partisan way

Also Alabama and Louisiana are red states with maps that were forced to favor Democrats

Nevada voted for Trump and 75% of their representatives are Democrats. New Mexico gave Trump 45% of the vote and all three representatives are Democrats. You’re telling me that fair?

Illinois too. 44% vote for Trump. 18% republican representatives

That’s not how that works. Especially since the legal system found it to be in violation of the voting rights act for the republicans.

Of course it’s possible! I’m from Massachusetts where we had a republican governor for 8 years. Split ticket voting is much more common between state and federal races (for example, president and governor) than it is between two federal races such as president and representative

If Nevada wants their congressional districts to be drawn better, they should have done this ballot measure properly
