I am a native Californian, and I want to know what everyone thinks of the governor election we have in California? The field is so crowded, we might not end up with a Democrat candidate in November.

I think we’ll for sure have a dem on the ballot, maybe steyer? The field is crowded but a lot of the candidates have no chance, and there’s still time for the race to tighten before june

I think what’s going to end up happening is, some people are going to fall out of windows because of the fact the field is so crowded. Look what happened to Swalwell. That’s politics.

There’s not enough time. The Democrats are going to have to get ruthless here. They’ll need to make Putin blush.

I have no sympathy for Swalwell 🤷‍♀️ i’m glad our party actually does something about creeps.

I wouldn’t think I’d be okay with voting for a literal billionaire, but he does have genuine progressive support behind him so idk. I don’t think he’d be too bad based on what I know

What I’m saying is, the Democrats will need to roll more heads in the candidate field if they want to win.

I haven’t really looked into it yet like most Californians. At the moment, I’m just focusing on parties because we can’t even start talking personal differences until we have a front runner.

You can say that again. You should have seen the level of stupidity and corruption in the California teachers union when I was a kid.

Eh I would be shocked personally if it was Hilton v Bianco - i would guess Steyer v Hilton (I haven’t been following it that closely, but Bacerra wasn’t polling that high until like this week) but I honestly think as we get closer and more strategic endorsements happen it’ll narrow

I’ve heard from my family still there (i’m out of state rn) that literally every political ad is an ad for or against steyer if that means anything
