Yes hate groups love to use religious symbols but those religions still use them for their intended purposes. This includes the Hindu Swastika, Iron/Coptic/Jerusalem Cross, Norse and Celtic runes…
Just another reason private schools should be banned. The catholic school my MAGA parents forced me to go to gave this necklace out on one of our retreats. They still hand these out every year.

Not saying your school wasn’t hateful but that’s no reason to ban ALL private schools.

Not OOP saying the Kairos symbol in proper context is offensive. Money can buy a better education but ig it can’t make you pay attention 😭 And 2010s-2020s Catholic Church is the denomination they’re mad about? Of all of them?

I mean if anything, the lack of proper education is even more of an argument against private catholic schools lmao

Right the higher ups in the Church are making huge strides in social justice when compared to the similar sects

Church higher ups are a lot more accepting of LGBT+ people and other marginalized groups thanks to Pope Francis and Pope Leo

iirc Pope Leo is fairly conservative when it comes to LGBT+ matters, but I wholeheartedly agree with Pope Francis. He tried to do what he could with it, going as far as blessing everyone at a gay marriage (newly weds included), just not blessing the marriage itself. It’s also okay to disagree with church stances (personally I disagree with their stance on abortion), but they’re moving in a great direction, even recognizing and apologizing for the atrocities of Canadian Residential Schools
