You’re protesting the federal government. Not the city or state. Obey local laws while protesting the federal government. Unless for some reason you want to dilute the protest by protesting the local government too

While I do mostly agree, if your no kings protest has a government-mandated start and end time, it’s not working. Because the government you are trying to protest is controlling your protest. Protests work when the upper class is uncomfortable
