I know a lot of the Muslims there are Indian Americans, but I feel like in the past a big distinction was made between Muslim and non-Muslim Indians

not really tbh when we’re talking post-9/11 wise. hate crimes, surveillance, everything targeted muslim and non-muslim brown folk in general. ofc people were louder about muslims but every brown person is a secret muslim to these troglodytes
