it’s an unpopular opinion because if this was popular, then there wouldn’t be patriarchy. actual misogynists who say they’re anti-patriarchy believe it’s reducible to a wage-gap, when the family was created through men needing to know women’s offspring were theirs, creating monogamy, and policing the female sexuality. so then we get the “woman” category and retroactively apply it into the past. and then like you are the “gateway” into a kinship system. not where land is passed down (men line)
