We don’t prohibit slavery if it’s punishment for a crime, the current Supreme Court defines religious freedom as “Christians can do whatever they want,” the electoral college is garbage, we’d be better serve by a parliamentary system. Second amendment is the worst one though. It’s worshiped like a religious text meanwhile all the normal countries have reasonable restrictions.

Yeah this is a huge concern of mine too. Ideally It’d be rewritten for the modern age but an archaic and flawed constant might be safer than whatever evil shit our current admin would cook up if we held a constitutional convention today

Oh absolutely. I mean they’re doing it now, I live in Arkansas and we’re forced by law to display the 10 commandments in every room of every public school 😄
