the whole state would have to stay open till 9 not just one county and they made it where you have to go to your precinct bc people were going everywhere saying they can vote and voting and they weren’t even registered before. Dallas county was the only issue like this. Everyone else in the entire state already had to go to their correct precinct

If he ends up losing the primary, will he still be able to run for TX AG? Sorry, I’m not from Texas (but am aware of Paxton’s hijinks)

no there was like a december deadline to register to run so they are currently doing primaries for a new psycho AG

In Dallas you can apparently vote at any polling place. There was a rule change that required you to vote at your assigned one. Despite messaging beforehand, tons of people showed up at the wrong place and got turned away. So many people were trying to look up their polling place on the website that it crashed

they implemented precinct specific polling sites so there was a lot of confusion and people were showing up to precincts they couldnt vote at, this also led to longer lines as the poll workers had to direct them to the right poll location

apparently the dems and gop used to run rhe primaries together but the gop pulled out leading to there being precinct specific locations

Do you have a link to the ruling where it says the entire state had to stay open? That’s pretty unusual
