Until there’s a real alternative to replace the US Dollar as the dominant global reserve currency, it will be moderately okay.

Haha yea! So true! Anyways we have about two weeks until the dollar collapses

Do not come into my comments talking about the Chinese Yuan, they are looking into an abyss of an inevitable population collapse

The way to deal with this is increasing immigration but I’m afraid we aren’t ready for that conversation

Not as soon as the Chinese, most nations are looking at a runway and actually have an opportunity to position themselves and figure it out before it does real social and economic damage, China made sure themselves that they wouldn’t get that luxury.

The difference is that the Chinese are able and willing to invest in their population to a) reverse the low childbirth trend and b) make sure people are taken care of for the brief period of time before the reversal hits

The Chinese handicapped themselves and would need their youth to have at least 3-4 children per family to even begin seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. The Chinese Youth also aren’t in good relations with the Chinese Communist Party at the moment and have straight up started to begin abstaining from participating in the overall economy, I forget the Chinese term for it but its a well documented phenomenon.

I looked that up and can’t find it anywhere about the Chinese youth abstaining because they don’t like the CCP💀

Looked that up and it doesn’t have anything to do with their dislike of the CCP

It’s a dislike of the CCP’s current policies, which by extension is displeasure with the CCP.

No it’s just people not wanting to hustle and bustle and instead live a quieter more peaceful life in a smaller city as like an artisan of some kind. It has nothing to do with their CCP😭

They are displeased with the CCP’s workplace/working policies and practices, they still remain highly nationalistic however. Comparable to the American Youth, they recognize the large and plentiful flaws of their government yet continue to love their nation.

I’d like to see a survey that separates the displeasure with the american government vs displeasure with being american

“Proud of being American” is about as close as you can get to asking if you like being American or not boss

💡
Anonymous replying to -> dumbegg 3w

It’s not that big of a stretch to assume that discontentment with the American government could spillover into that survey, I’m just saying it’d be interesting to see what data would’ve been produced had the group being surveyed were given those two distinct options, that being: Are you proud of the American government vs. Are you proud to be American? Also there’s no need for the condescending sarcasm, this is just a conversation

Of course discontent with the government is going to spill over into whether you like being American what are you talking about

💡
Anonymous replying to -> dumbegg 3w

Yes, that’s why I’m saying it’d be interesting to see if the survey were done a different manner that separated the displeasure of the American government Sorry if I’m not being clear or conveying myself in an understandable manner but I feel like I am

That’s like complaining to someone who says they don’t like tomatoes so they don’t like tomato that their dislike of tomatoes is “spilling over into not liking tomato soup” as if that doesn’t make perfect sense
