I understand the general sentiment, but you also have to consider that it’s next to impossible to help someone who doesn’t want to be helped.

You’d be surprised man, people are very capable of change. Just being a general friend to them without overtly trying to change their beliefs can go pretty far.

Have you ever seen the conversations I have in this community? 50+ comment long debates where I try to change minds is like, a weekly occurrence. Trust me, it’s good to try and change minds, but you also need to recognize when your efforts aren’t going somewhere productive.
