Democrats are in an identity crisis now. They can’t decide between the older establishment democrats and the younger more leftist DSA. Same for republicans - they lost their spine and rubber stamp whatever Trump wants, and modern conservative principles are dead. No more small government, state-directed investments (like China), mass expansion of government power, etc.

Just saying, if one guy’s entire platform is “I am for the exact opposite of that person’s platform” then the other person is by default anti-that guy I get what you mean though, Dems need to focus on their actual platform rather than saying how bad Trump is
