The crazy thing is they could have easily saved face by being like “this is unacceptable, just a bad apple, we’ll launch a formal investigation and prosecute him” but instead they doubled down and started making shit up and claiming absolute immunity for ICE 💀 both would suck, the latter is just unbelievably stupid

They’ll fall for the next 100 too because it’s not about the truth for them. It’s all “might makes right”. Conservatives have never cared about truth, it’s all gut feelings, and any of them telling you otherwise are lying
