well yeah ofc he had the right to say all the things he did. i wouldn’t even call this a first amendment thing at all really. sometimes speech can have unintended consequences like giving people motive for murder—you have the right to do it all you want tho

Yeah ofc. But it’s not justified. I believe he absolutely should’ve had consequences for the things he’s said but not murder. I feel like that’s baseline everyone agrees murder isn’t the appropriate consequence for hate speech. I was thinking more like regular karma like he goes broke or like gets stung by a bee on the tongue and has to have it amputated idk
