Most people are taking averages. The true story is that there are extremes at the ends of the spectrum. Some of them are in BIG trouble and some of them should be fine. India just got a 30 day waiver to import oil from Russia again. I assume more of that will come soon

Yeah, surge pricing is fairly typical in situations like this. It seems predatory but also ensures a limited commodity gets to where it’s most needed.

No, it definitely makes sense, it’s just funny because they used to sell it at a deep discount because they were desperate for revenue. Now everyone’s desperate for their oil 💀
