Sure they are efficient and have a high GDP, but they impose social credit systems that limit education and opportunity solely based off of a persons views and ideology. They also have concentration camps in tibet. The U.S was never really all that competent either, think about how the U.S has literally funded the islamic regime during the Iran contra affair, or how they started numerous wars with banana republic dictatorships
I disagree, there are many inequalities that could come about as a result of ethnic identity. For instance, Nepalese people are better acclimated to higher elevations than your average person, and this creates an inequality in where normal people can climb to in comparison to the Nepalese.
Competency comes in many forms, where you may say that Russia is incompetent for not making its gains within any type of planned timespan, Russia would say it shows excess competency because they are unwilling to divert a serious chunk of their military resources to Ukraine and instead send out meatwaves of their prisoners and African conscripts with Soviet era weapons.
