The sudden widespread Somali hate is insane??? The fact that Trump can say one thing and his supporters immediately run with it is terrifying. Literal Nazi propaganda vibes. Regardless of how you feel about immigration laws, do not fall victim to this.

I’ve never seen a single person say anything good or bad about Somalia

Maybe the recent outrage has something to do with recent news of, I dunno, the $1.5 billion fraud scheme?

But a lot of the hate I've seen appears to be an attack on any and all people of Somali descent. You see the difference there right?

No one is accusing every Somalian of fraud, but saying every illegal Somalian should get deported and we should stop taking in immigrants from Somalia is not hate, it’s reactionary

In the past week I have seen people say Somalis (usually with no distinction for their immigration status or involvement with fraud) are dirty, they have never contributed anything to society, they're intellectually inferior, and they should not be allowed to legally become citizens. Not saying everyone has been saying these things but enough people are for them to end up on my tl

Statistically all true when talking about Somalia as a whole. Not the individuals of course. Some Somalians did fraud. They took more money in fraud than the entire Somalian population contributed to the Minnesota economy and Somalia is in fact inferior to the United States (why do you think they want to come here?). It’s a completely logical response to want to cut off a flow of bad actors from a country that’s values do not align with our country’s.

Blaming the individual people who did nothing wrong is bad, but wanting to put an end to the problem is not. Solutions are needed

Yeah no I'm not loving your rhetoric here. I think you're probably part of the same problem I'm talking about but you just articulate it more nicely.
