The one good thing is that this country has needed a complete and total restructuring for a LONG TIME now. Him absolutely ruining everything gives us the opportunity to start fresh and build a good nation from the ashes of the diseased one. Istg if we just carry on w business as usual and just do some slow fixes to re-establish the same shit we'd been trying to fix once he's gone-

oh ok, I’m sorry that’s happening. Honestly it’s best to take a break from the news for a bit. There’s a way to mute notifications from certain apps for the rest of the day. I strongly recommend it. Your brain is not made to constantly focus on a 24/7 news stream

Nah it's the reverse. So much demented evil is running rampant, and so many people don't seem to care that it seems like I'm living in an evil world surrounded by evil people and I don't know how to cope. Rn these 'politics' have a hand in pm every single aspect of society, the world, and our lives. And I'm personally still stuck on the pedophile torture ring that a fuck ton of our leaders/elites/etc were a part of. With 0 accountability. No justice.

And ykw? I've been a crisis counselor since 2019 (I'm currently taking a break for obvious reasons), and genuine crises/suicidal action triggered by politics is now so common that 3 separate boxes have been added in our exit surveys in the past year (political distress, Trump, election)
