Voting is a right reserved for citizens of the country. Just because you live here temporarily doesn’t give you the right to influence policy decisions that’ll affect those who do long after you leave.

The elections influence foreigners too. Those here on visas may lose their visa because of the results of the elections. Not to mention global consequences

That’s a risk that you have to take when you decide to place the trajectory of your life on a country you’re not a part of. And as for global consequences, that’s what the UN is for. Instead of advocating for a rules for thee but not for me approach to voting, maybe just do what sensible people do and advocate for a more powerful international governing body.
