They also try to justify their racism by pretending to care about history but the boat they are using in the movie is way more historically inaccurate than a black person being in Greece. If you’re ever in Crete, the Heraklion museum has Minoan carvings with black people.

It’s a fucking movie. They can hire actors of varying ethnicities. It’s not supposed to be historically perfect. It’s not like the white actors are ethnic Greeks either.
