??? if you’re voting as you, you have to prove it’s you. If you go to a bar, you have to prove you’re 21. If you get on a plane, you have to prove it’s you. Telling someone they have to show it’s them seems like bare bones common sense

drivers license. you can also go to the dmv and get an ID card. every working person needs these id methods to become employed in the first place

Drivers licenses cost money, so you’re putting up a financial barrier to be able to vote. Also not everyone who is able to vote works
