Another funny note about this, the accusations of extremism leveled at mamdani by Israel and Adam’s were over his removal of laws that FORBID any organized boycotting of Israel in the city and a law that expanded the definition of antisemitism to include criticisms of Israeli policy as antisemitic. Oh and he acknowledged Israel as an apartheid state that is committing a genocide, as the UN already determined. Treating Israel like any other ally is apparently deeply antisemitic
