“He doesn’t have the power to do that” the democrats shout as he proceeds to continue doing exactly that. Following every time he breaks the law, they send a strongly worded letter and continue to feel comfortable in doing nothing.

he can’t make it legal though, that’d be the supreme court in this specific case. you’d have to prove to the supreme court that birthright citizenship poses a threat to not only the country but the constitution.

through executive orders though, and 99% of the time he legitimately does have the right to do that, like the tariffs, abolition of the autopen and voiding all orders put into place via that process

i should say too that i agree in a system where congress can’t agree on literally anything the president needs to use executive orders, if congress or the supreme court really doesn’t like it they can override it.
