The program is a result of governor hochuls larger healthcare plan. It is going to cost 8billion. And she is basically just pledging to spend it all on the city. Aka everyone in my is paying more for healthcare that they may not need in exchange for helping nyc

everyone needs healthcare. $8 billion dollars spent on healthcare are your state taxes well spent. do you complain about many of your federal tax dollars going towards endless weapons funding to israel? if you do, at least you're consistent with hating taxes in general.
