the fact that the US hands over millions of our taxpayer dollars to israel while they have free healthcare, education, etc and americans are bankrupted due to all of those things should have us rioting on the streets

opposing aid to israel i understand but aid to israeli isn’t why the us has bad social services. the highest estimate of aid to israel between 2024-2025 is about $20 billion. in that time the federal budget was $6.9 trillion making aid to israel about 0.003% of the budget. plus most of the money we give israel ends up right back in the pockets of our own defense contractors so we don’t pay for their social services either

while talking about aid to israel is def important, there’s a lot of other extremely shady and immoral stuff going on in the budget involving much larger amounts of taxpayer money that doesn’t get enough attention and i wish it got more scrutiny
