 Dems think they’re owed votes and frame it as a moral decision. It’s always been a party’s job to appeal to voters, and if it doesn’t it fails. That’s literally what accountability is in a democracy. We aren’t responsible for their failure to appeal to us

trump has been, in a lot of ways, a gift to the democratic party. not a gift that benefits the goals they present, but a gift that takes attention away from every issue they SHOULD be campaigning hard on and allows them to: 1) all focus on "trump bad, us neutral at best" and 2) pivot to "well trump wants X but we can instead sell out to the biggest donors and have their issues be what we focus on because everyone MUST focus on trump bad only"
