hot take i think police brutality is bad regardless of the victim

It’s probably an unpopular opinion but I think it’s ultimately a bad thing more people didn’t die on J6. Law enforcement/military being so gentle just confirmed to the Republicans that it was ok

J6 was not police brutality 💀. Only white conservatives think they can literally assault cops and get away w it

well yeah the OP was saying they wish there was police brutality so they’d learn their lesson

nope, j6 rioters were violent and it absolutely would’ve been justified for the police to have been more defensive. please never make me defend cops again

bc that post was suggesting it would have been better for more people to have been killed by law enforcement

The post says nothing about killing

Hey they tried overthrowing the government. This happened because we didn’t punish the confederacy for treason 160 years ago

it says more people should have died and that law enforcement should have been more aggressive i think that implies more people should have died due to police aggression aka they should’ve killed more i feel like that’s pretty simple logic

hey so like the entire thing with advocacy against police violence is that committing a crime does not give cops the entitlement to kill you btw

not “more people”, more j6 rioters who (i shouldn’t have to tell you this) were responsible for injuries and deaths among people present that day. not only that but they were forcibly trying to take over the capitol because their cult leader daddy fed them lies about fraudulent votes with absolutely zero evidence. they took the disillusioned words of a senile fart and used them as an excuse to charge the most important government location in our country. that is not innocent behavior, it’s -

unhinged lunacy and yeah if more of them died that day maybe they would’ve learned their fucking lesson

i’m sorry so (theoretically) if a mass murderer was running around shooting people with no end in sight, you don’t think police would be justified in killing that guy?

The officers were being beat, yeah they have a right to shoot

ok so then yes you are saying you support the idea that the cops should have killed more people

upvote 0 downvote

hey babe so the idea is you only use lethal force when someone is using lethal force so i feel like the math here isn’t too hard

Treason as defined by the United States is an act of war. Now, idk about you but, they committed an act of war against the government to stop the verification of the president. The reason I say this is because the constitution they hold so dearly in their putrid “hearts” says so. Also, you said people. They’re not people they’re confederates. The same people who want slavery to come back. They think I and millions of others are subhuman because we don’t look the same. They can go fuck themselves

If you try to stop a democratic process through force, then you can’t complain if you are met with force. Leftists and liberals dont have a history of trying to stop congressional processes through violence. The far right has a very long history. Not just in the United States. Across world history

So you don’t know if someone will stop beating you, and you think it’s therefore unreasonable to shoot them in fear of your life?

Rephrase it so I can answer it. I don’t understand the phrasing.

are you saying you think the cops should’ve killed more people jan6

upvote 1 downvote

Be more specific. The people who were beating them? The people walking around? Randoms outside the building? Innocent bystanders? When you say more people, which people?

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> OP 10w

And why are you leaving out what the people were doing? If a cop is going to shoot a woman walking her dog down the street on jan 6 that seems less warranted than a cop shooting a man sprinting in with a massive machete, for example.

I don’t know why your question has to be dependent on what someone else’s words are. Do you think it’s not important what the people are doing ?

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #3 10w

because the opinion in this post is directly relating to the opinion given in the first post why won’t you answer my question vro what is this 💀

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> OP 10w

Because the question is disingenuous. So I’m asking you to give the necessary context and phrasing to rephrase it in a way that allows for any amount of nuance. Do you think it’s good to allow people to beat others to death?

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #3 10w

no it’s not it’s literally exactly what the first post was saying it literally said more people should’ve died + the police weren’t aggressive enough so the suggestion is the police should have killed more people so the question was whether you agree with what the og post said

upvote 1 downvote
default user profile icon
Anonymous replying to -> #3 10w

bc i used the exact same amount of nuance as the first post like what’s happening i just rephrased their words into a question

I’m arguing with what you’re claiming. Not with what OOP is claiming.
