One of the most Jewish cities in America just voted (albeit in a primary) for a Muslim man who actively criticizes Israel. Shows how out of touch republicans and most democrats are. People are tired of funding a genocide.

Voting for a mayoral candidate based on Israel is just the definition of stupid.

Ok but the New York Mayor doesn’t really have any influence over Israel.

I don’t disagree. It’s as stupid for them to express their stance on Israel as it is for you to base your vote on their stance on Israel. It’s two sides of the same coin. Everyone is letting their opinion about Israel cloud their judgment of things that have absolutely nothing to do with Israel.

If you can’t tell, I’m so fucking tired of a bunch of Americans bickering at each other about Israel.

You’re not understanding my point. When you vote for New York City Mayor, you’re voting for the guy to run a city. The New York City mayor can do absolutely nothing about anything Israel does. So it doesn’t make any sense for anybody to care whether they support Israel or are against Israel. It flat out doesn’t matter.
