Is directly funding genocide a good reason not to vote for a candidate?

Can’t wait for Dems to underperform in the midterms due to single issue voters who will then beg the Dems to do something in 2027

Idk this seems like a bit of an unfair framing. Many folks made the educated guess that we’d still fund genocide under trump anyway, something that turned out to be absolutely true. It’s understandable that some folks couldn’t stomach the Kamala ticket but I don’t think that means that it was bad calculus to vote for her given the alternative

is being incredibly short sighted a feature of the left?

I understand why that decision was made; what irks me is that many of those who took that route cannot fathom why I and millions of others made our choice

Kamala lost with a billion dollar campaign; don’t even talk to me about short-sightedness.

Could you elaborate on why you did? As horrendous as Biden was for Gaza I just personally had zero reason to think It’d be any better under trump and many reasons to think It’d be worse. On top of that trump would obviously be worse on essentially every other issue I care about and we’re seeing the aftermath of that now. How were you weighing those options tho?
