When the system is in equilibrium I.e not rapidly changing. It’s a complex system with a very high number of factors

It’s gonna get hotter and in our lifetimes that means more extreme seasons and weather events, in hundreds of years it’s gonna be ice age followed by dry age unless we somehow get more water (at the current rate). Either way it will balance out forcefully

no we are not on a venus trajectory. venus’s atmosphere is 96.5% carbon dioxide. ours is currently 0.0432% carbon dioxide. all of global warming so far has been caused by an increase of about 0.015%. it is happening extremely quickly in geologic terms for sure which is why it causes such massive extinction and damage— evolution and also human technology just can’t keep up— but its an extremely small change relative to what it would take to turn earth into venus
