Yes the vaccine is safe and effective. It also has rare but present side effects in some people. It also struggles to prevent reinfection, but also makes those infections MUCH more mild. It was a medical miracle and saved MANY lives. It is also NOT perfect and isn’t a requirement for ALL people, who many of which would be fine without it, or may face side effects. It is immature to ignore these facts, but nevertheless many do

If that’s true then you would have to repeat it hypnotically like a robot to reassure yourself and others that you made the right choice.

Ngl I got the vaccine, then Covid a few weeks after and my symptoms weren’t too bad and then I got Covid again like over a year later without any boosters and they were even less bad

Yeah having the vaccine more than likely made your symptoms less severe. I never got the vaccine but I had Covid 3 times with little to no symptoms at all

Did you die any of the 3 times you got COVID?

so for the record, this is what vaccines are for. vaccines DO *NOT* PREVENT INFECTION, they provide your body with the resources to more effectively deal with an infection when it happens. you WILL still get covid, or any other viral disease, even with a vaccine. it’s just that most things are weak enough that once you’re vaccinated, you will likely not experience symptoms because your body is capable of fully fighting it off. covid is not like that, no matter how many vaccines you take -

- but it DOES make your symptoms far less severe, it DOES reduce infection time and it DOES reduce the amount of time that you are actively contagious, which results in less spread of covid and less overall activity. that is why it is SO important that EVERYONE gets vaccinated. IT IS NOT JUST ABOUT YOU.

To be fair in the Pfizer trial of 43,000 people split evenly only 9 people got hospitalized in the unvaccinated group of ~21,000 people, and I’d wager they all had preexisting conditions but Pfizer didn’t release that data

I got it once before the vaccine and felt mild symptoms for a day. 2 of the 3 times I got it after the vaccine I felt like I was going to die and the other one was only a little worse than the first time

No but 2 of the 3 were way worse than the time I got it before the vaccine

I’m stating the obvious. The vaccine is safe and effective to a point. There are valid concerns and risks to point out, but they are still a medical miracle

If it was obvious, you wouldn’t have to state it.

it is literally no more dangerous than any vaccine, and every vaccine that you could ever have put in your body outside of a clinical trial is orders of magnitude safer than literally any un-vaccinated viral infection
