I can believe France. My prediction is France and Poland taking leading roles in coordinating Europe’s defense.

France already has the largest nuclear stock in Europe, Dassault makes the rafale fighter, Matra makes the Exocet, storm shadow, and a bunch of other missiles, GIAT makes a ton of small arms, and French shipyards are building nuclear submarines and carriers. They already are spearheading european up-arming

France has a stunning ability to run their military for cheaper* than Germany while having that nuclear deterrence. *Cheaper is for lack of a better word. They spend their money better.
