I’m pretty sure the article talked about how companies using older equipment and technologies is causing inefficiencies though

I did read that part and semi understand it up until you realize that 90% of “innovation” in business tech is just a rerelease intended to increase Company A’s bottom line by selling said products to Company B

Sometimes, but the inefficiencies that come from Company B trying to slap more and more features on something 20 years old and held together by duct tape are not trivial. Unfortunately I speak from experience 😭
