Catholics tend to be pretty split for the most part on their political party affiliations. Other denominations though tend to be pretty right wing. Baptists, Protestants, and Mormons are all hella right wing

Yeah pretty much. Put simply, you don’t see the progressive popes shuffling pedophiles around to protect them. It’s mainly converts and much of the boomer/silent generation Catholics that are conservative while the cradle Catholics of Gen X-Gen Z tend to be more progressive
