Until someone can show PROOF that ANY airline is hiring people simply because of their race, I will stand by the fact that Charlie Kirk was an racist dickhead and anyone repeating that is also at worst racist and at a minimum a dumbass

I can see DEI for like non-critical roles like a steward or airport staff or whatever. But pilots? Flight controllers? They’re not handing that shit out to ANYONE unless they’ve put more time into training than Charlie Kirk spent being racist.

Y'all do not understand DEI at all. DEI is fine for critical roles too because if they are given that role they are QUALIFIED. They would be selected first when hiring because the position has been notoriously dominated by one race, such as airline pilots being 95%+ white despite being easy enough to learn

DEI just tries to keep the workforce in a ratio identical to the actual demographic. The pool of new hires are still held to the same standard. So if one black person somehow is less qualified than the nearly 7-8 white people hired in the same day, something else is going on
